Getting multiple prompts to reset your Apple ID password? It’s a scam

SINGAPORE: Have you been bombarded with inspires to restore your Apple ID login? You could be the target of hackers attempting to obtain your private information.

The Cyber Security Agency of Singapore ( CSAS ) issued a warning to iPhone users on Tuesday ( Apr 9 ) that they should press “do n’t allow” when asked to reset their passwords.

In recent days, like hacking attempts have been reported.

“Cybercriminals are using this technique to steal your private information and take control of your bill.” Keep your system technology updated for important safety patches”, it wrote on Twitter.

Additionally, it issued a warning that hackers are posing as Apple’s support staff and are asking for one-time password ( OTP ) reset codes. Users of Apple are urged to decline these names.

Not communicate or call your OTP or user information to people, according to CSA.
